The Open Begins March 6—Let’s Do This!

The Reebok CrossFit Games kicks off this week with the first Open workout announced on Wednesday, March 6.  This announcement will launch the Open’s 5-week competition and we are thrilled to participate!

We hope you’ve registered for the Open… it will be an incredible experience.  The Open is the most inclusive competition on Earth and everyone is invited to join in the fun—no elite status required.

Here’s how it will unfold… every Wednesday for 5 weeks an Open workout will be announced.  At that point, you will have until the following Sunday to complete the workout and post your results to the Reebok CrossFit Games website.

In fact, we’re going to make participation super easy for you… we will program each Open workout into our schedule.  Piece of cake, right?  Below is a schedule of how it will go down:

CrossFit Alpharetta:

The Open workout will be programmed
every Friday during all classes
throughout the 5-week period

CrossFit Downtown Atlanta:

Saturday, March 9th

10am- 1pm
continuous heats during this time frame

Friday, March 15th

all classes

Saturday, March 23rd

10am- 1pm
continuous heats during this time frame

Friday, March 29th (all classes)
Friday, April 5th (all classes)

 
NOTE: if you are participating in the Open and can’t make any of the above days/times, talk with your coach.  We will do everything we can to help any athlete participating in the Open complete an Open workout outside of the above schedule, but by appointment only.
